燃灯供佛 点亮心灯🪔

点灯，就是布施、供养，十供养之中的一种；而燃灯的功德又代表着光明、希望、心愿。

在佛教中，灯代表光明和智慧，提醒着我们要追求智慧，以去除愚痴。以灯供佛，隐含着以灯破暗、象征以智能除惑的深义。

佛教鼓励人们点光明灯的原因，除了祈福之外，主要是希望人们能够发善心、立善愿，进而接触佛法，为自己积聚觉悟成佛的资粮，这样才是真正的消灾解厄、转运得福。

燃灯供佛，象征佛的悲愿、佛的智慧，灯灯相传、灯灯相续。

** 供灯RM50 或以上，获设一延生牌位，供奉于大殿药师佛前，为期一个月。

Light Offering 🪔

One of the offerings for Puja is the Offering of Light. The English version of the Pali chant that accompanies is as follows:

With lights brightly shining,
Abolishing this gloom I adore the Enlightened One,
Who dispels the darkness (of ignorance).

Hence, when we perform light offering, the above verse should always be reflected. The Right Understanding of this ritual shows that we proffer our gratitude to our teacher, the Buddha who has shown and continuously showing us through His Dhamma to help lift us from the gloom of ignorance with His light and thence leading to wisdom.

We welcome light offering donation of any amount:

** For light offering RM50 and above, a Longevity Tablet with offerer’s name will be placed at Medicine Buddha’s altar for one month.
